USA just did not get enough wins in the 2 year qualifying for the world cup. Other countries not in are Italy(big surprise), Chile, and The Netherlands. Those are the 3 bigs not in the time around.
As for pk's there have been more this world cup than I can ever remember.

I think MadMan is talking about when teams go into overtime & then the penalty shoot out, basically penalty kick in front of the goal keeper.

It starts next round which is the knick out round......whoever loses is out.

Thing is, if you bet a team, they must win in regulation or overtime which has two 15-minute periods of extra time to try and determine a winner. If it goes to penalty shots, the only winner is the person who bet the draw.

I forget how you can bet a winner with penalty shots, or even if its possible.....maybe someone can explain it.
